This was the last dive of the course and we had pumped our students up that this was going to be the best dive of the weekend. Again the slack water dive was the highlight of the weekend, even though the viz was not brilliant everyone had a ball. We dropped over the edge of the wall and started to explore along the ledges. As per usual plenty of blue devils were hiding under the ledges along with what the students were sure was the biggest crayfish ever -with good reason Dianna pointed out he lived in a very inaccessible penthouse. Don't you just love diving with new divers, just when you have heard it all someone comes up with a statement like that! As the tide was flooding we began to drift along the wall and back inside the bay. As we drifted over the ledges and up over the kelp on top we came across a large school of long finned pike. In amongst these where some old wives and a couple of sweep and just as we ending our dive we some large snook cruised by also.
