News Alert!!
I would like to report the first sightings of divers coming out of hibernation!!!!
It was great to see so many of our 'hibernating' divers, regular 'winter' divers & 'new' divers come along last Saturday. As usual Blairgowrie Pier didn't disappoint. The sun shining through the water provided the perfect lighting for James who took these fabulous photos. I think that Blairgowrie Pier is the new hot spot for Nudibranchs, having spotted at least 5 different types, and plenty of them. Second to the Nudis were the Banjo Sharks\'85.I couldn't believe how many we saw. Schools of Whiting, Crabs galore, the large Stingray (why is there always a large Stingray under every pier??) Seahorses, Globe Fish and a Crayfish\'85.YES, a Crayfish\'85.ask Kathryn if you don't believe me!!
With the weather warming up, I'm expecting that we will see more & more of our 'hibernating'divers coming along to enjoy the summer diving. Don't forget that there is always a Divemaster to lend a helping hand or, if you prefer, to dive with.
