It was an excited group that made their way down from the top carpark to the water's edge, this is to be the very first 'dive' of the 2 shore dives from the Open Water Course. The sea conditions are good and the weather is fine, after a few minutes in the shallows adjusting our weight for the salt water, it's off for a swim we go. At first the aquatic life is a bit sparse, we swim under the breakwater and still not much to see. It's not until we turn around and head back to shore that the action starts!! Nudibranchs, Seahorses, Big green Fish and some fish swimming in groups!!
So it was with much anticipation that we started our second dive, although this time we had plenty of skills to get through so not much time to look around, however we do follow the same path out hoping to find something of interest. Because we were a 'lazy' group instead of walking out, we swam until we were in 400mm of water, leaving a very short walk up the beach!!
