Blairgowrie Jetty – Sunday 14th December 2014

Divers: Blair, Lyndal, Nico, Giullian & Mark

Another perfect day to go diving, as we walked down to the waters edge to start our dive. Although there was a slight current moving west, the viz was about 8-10 metres and the water was oily smooth. We were the first group in although there were plenty to follow us, Peter Bell & Harry were there as usual, we had found an unusual fish and hoped the boys could help out with an ID of it, but even they didn’t know what it was – but it was big. There was plenty to see Nudibranchs, Puffer Fish, the giant Bull Rays and lots more. Learning from our more experienced Club divers & Tekkis we also had lunch after the dive, sitting under the umbrella of the cafe eating lunch and having a few quite cold drinks was a very relaxing way to spend the afternoon after such a great dive.
