Our Winter Diving Program has been designed to accommodate new divers, experienced divers, divers wanting to try out new gear and for divers who have been out of the water for a while and are itching to get back into it. Why wait until summer to dive? Winter diving in Melbourne affords us some of the best diving conditions, no hustle & bustle trying to get a car park, and the dive boats aren't as crowded, allowing a more comfortable time on the boat. Come and join us and share in one of the best kept secrets…..WINTER DIVING!!!!
Each month there will be 2 dives. Basically the first Saturday of the month is a shore dive and the third Saturday of the month is a boat dive, but this pattern does vary a couple of times, so it is important that you keep an eye on the website.
All shore dives will be as per the Summer Shore Diving Program where the divers meet at the dive site at 10:00am.Anyone planning to join us for the shore dive is asked to register at Aquability prior to the dive and leave your mobile phone number so you can be contacted if there are any last minute changes to the dive site. Because we aim to dive at the site with the best conditions available, we don't make the final decision on the site until 6pm on the Friday night prior. Please check the website (under Winter Diving Program) or call Aquability after 6pm on the Friday night to find out where we are going to dive (Aquability's phone number is 95857277). And like the Summer Shore Diving Program, it is Free!! (Dive gear & air not supplied) Hiring of dive gear can easily be arranged if you don't own your own kit.
And don't forget, we will still be rewarding ourselves with a hot choccy or lunch after the dive!!
Our Winter Diving programe has finished for this season and we now look forward to our Summer Shore diving programe satrting on Saturday 3rd December 2011.
